We are sorry to have to announce that the events have been cancelled and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Full refunds will be issued over the next couple of months.

2013 Cancelled

Kielder 50

Includes: race entry, race T-shirt, 1 x Accelerade energy gel, Accelerade energy drink at feed stations,, water stops, fruit and snacks at feed stations, mechanical assistance around the course, water bottle and Allendale beer.

Kielder 100

Includes all of the above plus: Newcastleton hot food station, finishers mug, post-race BBQ/food.

N.B. Camping is NOT included in the entry fee and will have to be booked separately. Accomodation information is on the Local Infopage.

Entry for 2013 will close on 7th September 2013, no entry on the day. NO REFUNDS will be issued after 15th August 2013.

Categories

– Open (18-39) Gentlemen & Ladies
– Veteran (40+) Gentlemen & Ladies

Trophies and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category with spot prizes available for other riders.

SingleSpeed – there’ll be prizes for the first male and female singlespeeders to finish. (But you’ll have to make sure you tick the singlespeed box at registration so we know you’re riding one.)

All competitors should be fit and experienced cyclists capable of riding long distances off road on tough terrain and technically competent enough to ride difficult red grade mountain bike trails. Ideally you should have completed at least one endurance mountain bike, running or adventure race of at least 6 hours in length before considering this event.

At the event sign on you will be required to sign a waiver confirming you understand these terms and conditions and will abide by the rules of the event. You must ride under your own name.
